For the love of travel...
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read
only one page.”
- St.
Augustine
Our essentials are packed tight in our backpacks... Our things are all boxed and ship-bound to Australia... It's hard to not feel a mixed bag of emotions. Sadness saying goodbye to London and all the amazing things this place holds. Happiness for our new adventure and all that awaits.
Tomorrow, D and I fly out of London - bound for Eastern Europe (with a Greece and sneeky Italy trip thrown in for good measure). This will be our last hooray abroad before we make our way back to reality - home.
With only flights into Greece and Croatia sailing booked, we have the next 3 months open to make our way where we want, when we want...
Let the games begin.

Liverpool....
Despite the fact I unintentionally ruined my birthday surprises (sending Jess and D. into a royal panic of phone calls the weekend before), they still refused to give up the jig! Rescheduling all plans for the following weekend... (recovery dependent).
I made sure I was recovered.
So the following Sunday, my new birthday-day, D. and I picked up the rent-a-car, and headed north, bound for Liverpool.
Background information: I, we, love The Beatles. and Elvis. I had been ranting for a few months that as our time in UK was coming to an end I can not believe I still hadn't made it to Liverpool the home of the Beatles. D. listened, took note, and actioned it.
He had hired a car and planned a road trip to Liverpool were we would spend the day visiting anything Beatle related!
I was ecstatic!
